Children's Day

On 27th of May 2010 in Šimkovy sady, thanks to the chief magistrate Otakar Divíšek there was a Children's Day organised.

This is the fourth year of Children's Day under the name ''Hradec Králové - Safe City'' organized by the town police HK.

The programme will consist of a self-defence demonstration, dog training, first aid, fire-fighting activities and training of assistance dogs. Also there will be a display of equipment of police officers, fire-fighters and medics. All agencies will have competitions prepared for children. There will be a mobile playground and games for children.

As in previous years Tepelné hospodářství HK supports this celebration. We hope that prizes and gifts will put smile on children's faces.

The long-term employee of THHK, a.s. Jan Tomek will prepare an exposition of steam engines, so the children can see the old times.

We wish to all the children from Hradec nurseries and schools an unforgettable experience and, if possible, clear skies.
